Learning to Get Away

Now when this year is ending, I wish you all a very Happy New Year! May God bless you with all the happiness and good luck. Hope you all get away from the things that have ever brought you down and you find happiness in every bit of life. Hence, on this occassion, I herewith post a poem on 'When I Learnt to Get Away', written by me. This poem is dedicated to all those who have overcome their struggles and have found their own way in 2016, seperating their ways from bad things. Thank you. When I Learnt To Get Away A poem by Tarushi The times when I become sad, All because of the words that are bad. I walk all alone down the hollow lane, Shedding small tears in the heavy rain. Then I decide not to look back and move on, Because the past has bygone, The crowd does not charm me anymore, Sit down peacefully in the company of sycamore. I forget everything that has ever brought me down, For a new beginning requires a crown. Then I learnt so many new things, That I co

New Year Resolutions

We all have our own aims and goals that we may want to achieve in a certain amount of time. But this time is not for laughing around or just wasting it, but for preparing and working hard to reach to your aim. Many people in the world do not have the basic amenities to achieve what they want, whereas some people have everything except for good health. Some do have everything, everything that God could ever bless someone with, yet they are frowning, cribbing about their lives. With every new year, we should thank God that he has given us one more year to live and has helped us to overcome all the hardships and struggles in the past year, bringing double joy to our lives. We should thank him for giving us every basic amenity to fulfil our dreams. Having said this, and coming back to aims and goals, we all make new year resolutions. A resolution, according to my Google companion, is a firm decision to do or not do something. And yes, that is right. A new year resolution is a resoluti

Stress, stress go away!

The butterflies in your stomach when you hear of an upcoming meeting or of the due date of a project. These butterflies are the first signs of upcoming stress that is going to strike you, every day, every hour, every second, but that, if you allow it to. It's very normal to get depressed, go through anxiety or have headaches, but the more you allow them to seize you, the more they will. You need to learn to let go of the stress. There are different reasons for which people worry. Some are listed below- 1. Fear of making mistakes 2. Stage Fright 3. Fear of criticism 4. Fear of leg pulling 5. Fear of losing an impression Imagine if you just let go of all these worries! You will overcome all these fears and rule the stage. These are the things that make you depressed, some even get a panic attack under such worries. The house becomes silent, you like to be alone, you stop watching films or listening to songs, you decline leisure trips with family etc. These are SOME signs. Thi

You in the Universe

Every person in this world has some or the other need, everyone needs something, everyone has a crave to establish themselves, to make their existence exist. In this race, many fall into the black hole of immortal bliss. But you? What is your aim? Have you ever thought of being someone? There is a lot more beyond Social Networking, you have to get out there in the real world and establish yourself. People, at first will not notice you, but that, my friend, is the first sign of success in this socio-dominated world. In this world of people, where the first question is if you are on Facebook and not if you write poems, you have to connect both of them (Facebook and your poems) to make yourself unique. People will first see your personality, your capability to merge into the society, yet not be affected by it. I have seen so many people, who have 600 followers on Instagram but, ultimately are sitting alone on the corner bench in recess. It isn't their mistake, nor Instagram's, bu
