Hence, on this occassion, I herewith post a poem on 'When I Learnt to Get Away', written by me. This poem is dedicated to all those who have overcome their struggles and have found their own way in 2016, seperating their ways from bad things. Thank you.
When I Learnt To Get Away

The times when I become sad,
All because of the words that are bad.
I walk all alone down the hollow lane,
Shedding small tears in the heavy rain.
Then I decide not to look back and move on,
Because the past has bygone,
The crowd does not charm me anymore,
Sit down peacefully in the company of sycamore.
I forget everything that has ever brought me down,
For a new beginning requires a crown.
Then I learnt so many new things,
That I could have not thought of.
This world is so much wider and nicer,
I hadn't seen it like that ever.
I do not crave for the mortal bliss,
Which is like an unending abyss.
I learnt to be happy and love myself,
The Books began doubling in my shelf.
So, I had finally found my own way,
It's so lovely learning to get away.
