New Year Resolutions

We all have our own aims and goals that we may want to achieve in a certain amount of time. But this time is not for laughing around or just wasting it, but for preparing and working hard to reach to your aim. Many people in the world do not have the basic amenities to achieve what they want, whereas some people have everything except for good health. Some do have everything, everything that God could ever bless someone with, yet they are frowning, cribbing about their lives.
With every new year, we should thank God that he has given us one more year to live and has helped us to overcome all the hardships and struggles in the past year, bringing double joy to our lives. We should thank him for giving us every basic amenity to fulfil our dreams.
Having said this, and coming back to aims and goals, we all make new year resolutions. A resolution, according to my Google companion, is a firm decision to do or not do something. And yes, that is right. A new year resolution is a resolution that people make, in which they make wise and intelligent decisions that they must follow throughout the year, or achieve it by the end of the year by working hard for it throughout the year. People usually make decisions that are tough, and hard to follow, but are exciting to keep up with. People make decisions such as to improve academics, to learn something new, to stop smoking, to become thin etc. As you can see, these all resolutions are achievements of hard work. It is difficult to keep up with the hard work, hence, I herewith provide some tips for it-
1) Stick some Post-Its on your wall or on the cupboard reminding you about your new year resolution. You can even stick some Post-Its on the fridge, if your aim is to lose weight.
2) Make schedules. Give time to the work that is to be done, to achieve your aim.
3) If you aim to stop something, such as smoking, then throw away all the things related to it and never be tempted again. After all, every good habit will indirectly lead to the betterment of the country.
4) Stay away from the people who encourage you to practice bad habits again. Bad company gradually leads to increase in your bad habits.
5) If you aim to make new friends, then you must choose your friends wisely, you just cannot make anyone your friend. You must make good friends.
6) If your aim is to indulge in charity, then you must donate some things every month or atleast on every important occassion to some orphanage, under priveleged children etc.
7) Keep exercising if you want to become thin. At least 3-4 hours every 3 days. Also, control your diet.
8) If your aim is to read new novels, then read at least one new novel every month and read newspaper, articles or magazines everyday for one hour.
9) If your aim is to get prizes, then keep participating in competitions organized by your school. But yes, even if you win or lose, it does not matter, because participation matters the most, so do not worry.
10) If your aim is to worry less, then read my previous blog 'Stress, stress go away!' 😉

But always make wise and intelligent decisions, instead of stupid ones. Your wise decisions can help your country develop.

With this, I close my third blog. Please follow me.

Future: 2050

The Future Awaits Us! 'The science of today is the technology of tomorrow", said Edward Teller, a well-known theoretical physicist. But in these words, what does tomorrow signify? Is it a mere conjecture of the probable happenings of the future, or perhaps an upcoming alien invasion? Whatever it stands for, we do know for a fact that the future withholds what we fantasize for today. Presently, the materialistic ventures of human beings have amassed to a toxic aura of manipulation, added to the cloaked presence of go-getters. Yet, political pursuits and a change of economy are at the top of this social food chain. It has been fifty years to the first man on the Moon, and our objectives have been increasing by a manifold. According to me, it is not the future for which we should worry, but instead, we should be on guard for not being able to limit expectations in all dimensions. 2050 is not far, it is merely 30 years ahead and it might be jaw-dropping to realize th

If you were stranded on a deserted island, name a few things you would bring.

Perhaps, the most frustrating/asked question in high-profile interviews. Like, come on, first of all, I would never know that I am going to be stranded on a deserted island. I'll never be like, "Oh! I am going to be stranded on a deserted island, let me take my puppy with me." And even if so, I would never have the time to take things with me. The only answer I could think of  is something that could save my life. Anyways, let me throw some light on the things people usually say- Mobile Phone - Oh great! First of all, would you be able to establish a connection? What will happen after a day's battery? What if your phone is full of water from the sea? But no, they want to click selfies on the island with the caption, "Oh no! Stranded on a deserted island! #boring" 📱 My Kindle - Okay, that's fine, maybe you want to read on how to survive on a deserted island. But, if they ask you to have something else besides your Kindle, where will you get
